📌 What is E-Scrutiny?
Many students get confused about this.
E-Scrutiny means Online Document Verification.
You don't have to visit any centre.
You simply upload all your documents online.
The verification officers check your documents through the portal.
If every document is correct, your application gets verified.
If any document is missing, unclear or incorrect, your application is sent back for correction.
You can correct the mistakes and upload the documents again before the last date.
It saves both time and travel.
📌 What is Physical Scrutiny?
If you choose Physical Scrutiny,
you need to visit the allotted Scrutiny Centre with all your original documents.
The officers will verify the originals and confirm your application on the spot.
📌 What is a Provisional Merit List?
The Provisional Merit List is the temporary merit list prepared by the CET Cell.
It contains your:
Name
Category
NATA/JEE Score
Merit Rank
Reservation Details
Other admission information
Since it is provisional, it may still contain mistakes.
For example:
Wrong category
Wrong marks
Missing documents
Incorrect reservation
Incorrect personal details
That's why candidates must carefully check every detail after it is released.
📌 What is the Grievance Period?
The Grievance Period is the time given to students to report any mistakes in the Provisional Merit List.
For example, if you notice:
Wrong marks
Incorrect category
Reservation not considered
Missing NATA score
Incorrect personal details
you can submit a grievance through the official portal with supporting documents.
The CET Cell will review your request.
If your grievance is found valid, the correction will be made before publishing the Final Merit List.
Once the Final Merit List is published, no further corrections are usually allowed.
So don't ignore this step.
