In the video for “ Italian Weekend”, black fluid shapes reminiscent of orbs, or perhaps the energy and forces that we cannot see dance and shape-shift over fields and mountainous terrain in Reykjavik, Iceland. Towards the end of the video, the midnight sun unveils intricate patterns in water and sand.
This experimental video was created using analog special effects techniques; magnetic fluid suspended in water, and shooting distortions behind columns of glacial water in glass at The Library of Water. Stykkishólmur, Iceland.
