Caretakers are also ensuring proper hydration by providing electrolyte water, glucose, and multivitamins, along with regular water spraying to keep enclosures cool. Additional steps like planting bamboo for natural shade have been taken for herbivores. Officials say they are fully prepared to safeguard over 200 animals as temperatures are expected to peak in the coming months.
