After you complete mission 17, there's a very amusing line of text to me. "5 hours later"
Yeah, that's what I feel like after each mission.

During Mission 18, despite what's happening, the emulator is not actually slowing down. The speed remains at 100%. Whatever is happening, it appears to be an issue inherent to the game as it happens in software mode and on real PS2s and only in this mission from what I've been able to find. The reason why I mob the strikers is to keep them from reaching the jet. They're all linked, so they are capable of dealing enormous amounts of damage to it should they reach it.
