A Nation-Building Initiative Launched by Vishwagra

Introduction

Vishwagra Grama Gurukula is India’s largest student-led education movement, designed to cultivate self-learning, discipline, culture, service, and leadership among rural children.

This initiative is planned to be implemented simultaneously in 4,000 villages of Karnataka.

Every village must become a Gurukula.
Every child must discover the Guru within.

This is the vision of Vishwagra.

The Grand Structure of 4,000 Villages

(The Heart of the Movement)

This system is built not on control, but on discipline;
not on commands, but on responsibility;
not on positions, but on service.

Level 1 – Village Gurukula Unit

In each village:

10 students are selected

4,000 villages × 10 students
= 40,000 Student Gurukula Warriors

These 10 students together form one Vishwagra Grama Gurukula Unit.

This unit is the foundation of the entire system.

Level 2 – Leadership of Two Villages

For every two villages:

One Boy Leader

One Girl Leader

Their responsibilities:

Coordination of Gurukula activities

Motivation and mentoring

Reporting and discipline monitoring

4,000 villages → 2,000 village pairs
= 4,000 student leaders
(2,000 boys + 2,000 girls)

Level 3 – Leadership of Twenty Villages (Cluster Level)

For every 20 villages:

One Youth Leader

One Youth Leader (Female)

They:

Supervise 10 two-village units

Maintain training discipline

Conduct weekly reviews

4,000 ÷ 20 = 200 cluster units
= 400 youth leaders
(200 male + 200 female)

Level 4 – Taluk Level

In each taluk:

One Taluk Student Commander (Male)

One Taluk Student Commander (Female)

Responsibilities:

Guidance of all cluster leaders

Taluk-level Gurukula assemblies

Performance evaluation

Approximately 4,000 villages fall under ~200 taluks.

Total: 400 Taluk-level Student Leaders

Level 5 – District Level

In each district:

District Student Marshal (Male)

District Student Marshal (Female)

They:

Supervise taluk teams

Organize district-level Gurukula festivals

Identify and nurture talent

Across Karnataka:

Approximately 60 District Student Leaders

Level 6 – State Level

At the state level:

Karnataka Student Maha-Yodha

Karnataka Student Maha-Yodhini

They:

Represent all 4,000 village Gurukulas

Protect discipline and long-term vision

Ensure implementation of Vishwagra values

Purpose of This Hierarchy

This structure is not meant to grant authority.

It is meant to:

Teach responsibility

Cultivate a spirit of service

Develop leadership from village to state level

A student may join the Gurukula in 5th standard.

By 12th standard, the same student may become:

A Village Leader

A Cluster Leader

A District-level Representative

This is a living curriculum of leadership.
