Were you issued a Boss DS-1 at birth like us? Or is its dynamic mid-scooped tone still an enigma to you? Whichever the case, PSA Isflak will still find a way to amaze! An interesting approach to the boutique remake genre:
It doesn't abandon the original. And it doesn't copy it either. It could be argued that the Isflak is an idealized Boss DS-1 that fixes pretty much THE MAIN dilemmas that people had about the original:
1. slightly more mids, evident especially on strats
2. slightly more volume, so that you'll not run out of it again
3. slightly more gain on tap, should you ever go above and beyond
4. true bypass to end all buffer reluctance
5. top jacks to fit on tight boards
And it's better quality than any Boss pedal you'll find these days, or quite possibly ever! The original does not replace this. A testament to what dedication (and even passion for the original) can create. The tribute that rises above. AND BEYOND!
From Petit Son Amplifié (Small Sound Amplified), a proud builder with AMAZING creations made right in France: both gold standards and insane devices for all!

We use sE Electronics microphones! The T2 is the be-all end-all LDC. From the only TITANIUM sputtered capsule microphone manufacturer in the world. Compact lollipop design (hangs from cab), the 4 polar patterns (all useful), extremely accurate frequency response 20Hz to 20kHz, great transient response and durability make it THE objective choice for us. Nothing else we tried compared to it. Our T2 shall never leave us: one of the best microphone designs in history.
