Beat the crowds at the US National Parks

On the one hand, it's great that the US National Parks are becoming so popular. Of course, there are many downsides that come with it, just one of which are the large crowds.
It is not always possible to visit when a park is not crowded, but there are some ways to mitigate the issue. In this video, I give a few recommendations.
As of the posting of this video, timed reservations are required to visit the most popular sections of the following parks during peak times:
Arches National Park, in Utah
Glacier National Park, in Colorado
Haleakalā National Park, in Hawaii
Mount Rainier National Park, in Washington
Rocky Mountain National Park, in Colorado
Yosemite National Park, in California
The following parks also have timed reservations required for specific sections of the park, or a particularly popular hike (this is more than just requiring a permit for safety reasons):
Acadia National Park, in Maine, to drive Cadillac Summit Road
Shenandoah National Park, in Virginia, to hike Old Rag Mountain
Zion National Park, in Utah, to climb Angels Landing
More are being added regularly, as demand dictates. Be sure to check the National Park Service website for your chosen park before you go!
