Plus, the fun doesn't stop there. Depending on the color of the hat, your gnome can transform into Santa, Jack Frost, or an elf – it's a gnome shape-shifting extravaganza!

GNOME #1
MATERIALS and CORD LENGHTS:
For the hat:
3mm 4 ply twisted cord, but you can also use braided or twisted cords(I'm using red 4ply):
20 (approx) 30cm / 12 inches
1x 50cm/ 20 inches
For the beard:
White 3mm 4 strand twisted cord (but twisted 5mm and 3mm would work perfect too)
9 (approx) 25cm/ 10 inches
Wooden bead 20cm
Wooden ring 4,5cm
Wooden snowflake (optional)
Glue gun
Core of a toile paper roll

MATERIALS and CORD LENGHTS:
For the Hat:
20x (approx) 30 cm / 12 inches
1x 40 cm / 16 inches
1x 20 cm / 8 inches
(I've used red 3mm 4ply twisted cord for all above, but you can also use braided cord or twisted cord)

white/natural 5mm twisted cord (1ply) - please see the video as it needs wrapping several times around your hand - no specific length for this one 😊

1x wooden bead 20mm

Core of a toilet papper roll

5mm twisted Macrame Cord (for beard and mustache)
3mm 3ply/4ply macrame cord, twisted or braided cord (any waste cords will work great for this project)
20mm Wooden Bead
4,5cm wooden ring OR the core of a toilet papper roll

Cord lengths:
20x (approx) 30 cm / 12 inches - if you are a beginner make it 40cm /16inches
1x 40 cm / 16 inches
1x 20 cm / 8 inches
