How To Clean Gucci Sneakers Trashed in Futuristic Music Video

If you don’t know how to properly clean Gucci shoes, it can be a pain, especially considering that most Gucci sneakers are made up of premium leathers and come with a hefty price tag.

The pair of Gucci Rhyton sneakers that we’re cleaning today are a personal pair of our friend, Futuristic. He’s been a friend of the brand for a while, and rocked this pair of Gucci sneakers in a recent music video, where they got absolutely trashed.

Futuristic stopped by the RESHOEVN8R HQ and dropped them off for us to clean and detail, because we definitely know our stuff. While we don’t get a ton of luxury shoes, we do still clean our fair share of designer kicks. Gucci, Louis, Balenciaga…we clean it all.

Robert started cleaning the Gucci Rhyton with a dry brush, but it didn’t really do much, so let’s go straight to our Sneaker Cleaning Solution and Three Brushes. Rob used the Soft Bristle Brush to clean the leather uppers of the Gucci Rhyton, but was having trouble getting some of the deeper stains to come out.

The Medium Bristle Brush didn’t fare much better, so Rob used a little trick to detail the tough stains. Rob dipped the Microfiber Towel in the Solution and used his finger to buff out each stain. This process takes much longer than just scrubbing with the brushes, but it gave us the Gucci results we were looking for. After using the Stiff Bristle Brush for the outsole, we’re ready to put these through the Laundry System.

Because the Gucci Rhyton is made up of premium leathers, we should have no issues flushing it out in the washing machine. Rob bagged up the Gucci shoe and laces in the Sneaker Laundry Bag and put them into the washing machine with a Sneaker Laundry Detergent Pod.

Now all that’s left is to let them dry, lace them, and let Futuristic now that we saved his Gucci Rhytons.
