Music, light and shadow build a magical illusion together here that reflects this heritage. The light tower appears as light as a feather one moment, later weighty and almost majestic. The Lichttoren is a listed building. This is where life expectancy testing for candescent bulbs continually took place. Later the property was transformed into the head office for the light division. The Lichttoren is an exceptional building, certainly in an architecturally historical sense. Its functionality, efficiency, use of concrete, glass and metal make it a true example for the city.
