Deglina is a young actress, who is shooting her new film “The Other Manasa”, where she is playing the role of the deity Manasa, the goddess of snakes. Manasa’s aim was to fully establish her authority as a goddess and to acquire steadfast human devotees. But Deglina is unable to become the goddess fully as she cannot overcome her emotional conflict. She has had an abortion few days back, but still is in the dilemma that she might have committed a sin. So she goes on a psychological journey to a fantastical land where she confronts what she had to do and why. Manasa’s journey and her personal journey juxtapose and becomes one. After overcoming the conflict she becomes the goddess and gets her ‘artistic moksha’.
