This is another way of creating high voltage impulses.
What you need to build it:
*N-Type Mosfet
*Resistor
*Speaker wire for the coil
*Power supply or battery
The setup is made of 3 identical bifilar flat coils that are stacked - the outer two are facing the same direction, the inner coil the opposite direction.
The inner bifilar coil is pulsed by a simple Joule thief circuit.
The two outer coils are connected in series and act as the output coils.
It is interesting that by making use of resonance the voltage multiplies by roughly 100x (with no load), even though the the winding of the coils is 1:1.
