Whether you’re week was ideal or not there’s sure to be some back tension flying around your body. This week on our 4th installment of Flexi Friday we look at Adult Pose - a variation of the Child’s Pose with a foam roller assist to ensure your lifestyle demands don’t go untreated.
Gotta recover for the weekend then tackle the week ahead!
🔹PURPOSE
🔸 To decrease pain and tension to the entire posterior chain of the body, while increasing shoulder mobility.
🔹PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS
🔸 Improve how your posterior muscles work together and your ability to perform work for longer durations with them
🔸 Improves your shoulder mobility, resulting in more controlled, strengthened, and endurable upper body movements
🔸 Decreased your back and hip pain; shoulder, hip, and low-back tension
🔹WORKOUT INTEGRATION
🔸 This stretch is ideal as a dynamic warmup for mobility with the roller, or cooldown as a hold. Go for at least a 30 sec. hold/side.
