Commissoned by the National Trust, the images were made before, during and approaching the the end of the covid pandemic, 2019 - 2022 as the creative process bridged a significant moment in history.

The hardback book contains over 45 pages of Joe's images creating a wonderful visual record of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal as they were transformed by the changing seasons.

Including a foreword by Justin Scully, General Manager of the Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal National Trust site, the book also contains essays by National Trust Historian Mark Newman on 'Historical art and photography at Fountains Abbey', and by Joe Cornish describing how the exhibition came together.
