BIHAR en euskera significa Mañana

“BIHAR: Elegir el Mañana” es un ejercicio de pausa ,mirar lo que está cambiando y sobre todo, de reflexión futura sobre lo que puede suceder si seguimos apostando por modelos no sostenibles. El futuro de BIHAR, nuestro futuro, está en el presente.



Espero que esta obra ayude a las personas a reflexionar y a ver que como la escultura puede llegar un momento en que no estemos a flote.

Cada decisión que tomamos

elegimos si hundirnos o salir a flote.



Es escultura pensada para reflejar el devenir constante del tiempo que se representa con la subida y la bajada de las mareas de la Ría de Bilbao.

Pero sobre todo, una escultura con la expresión de toda una generación venidera. Una expresión de expectación por las decisiones que tomaremos y que determinarán si vivimos hundidos o sacamos la cabeza. Podrás verla junto al Puente Zubizuri en Bilbao, cuando baje la marea.


Junto con BBK , Bihar es una campaña de Concienciación social en todos los aspectos

BBK tiene la visión siempre de apostar en proyectos de gran impacto social



Me invitaron nuevamente a participar y trasmitir el mensaje por medio del arte



Este fue el anterior proyecto antes de la pandemia

MATERIAL
La escultura pesa aproximadamente 120 kg, está hecha de fibra de vidrio y pintada con resina translúcida.

Tiene una estructura de acero que la mantiene firme y sumergida en la ría.
Pesa 3 toneladas y media

BIHAR: It was not the act of representing a genre itself

It was just representing tomorrow



BIHAR in basque means tomorrow



“Bihar: Choosing tomorrow” is a pausing exercise, looking at all that is changing and above all, of future reflection on what can happen if we continue to bet on unsustainable models. Bihar´s future, is ours, is in our present.



I hope that this art work help people to reflect and see that, like this sculpture ,could arrive the time in which we are not afloat.

Each decision we take, we choose wether to sink or float





A sculpture designed to reflect the constant evolution of time that is represented with the rise and fall of the tides of the Bilbao estuary.

But above all, a sculpture with the expression of an entire generation to come. An expression of expectation for the decisions that we will make and that will determine if we live sunk or stick our heads out . You can see it next to the Zubizuri Bridge in Bilbao , why the tide goes



Together with BBk, Bihar is a Campaign of social awareness in all aspects. BBk always has the vision of betting on projects with great social impact



They invited me again to participate and transmit the message through art.





This was the previous project i worked with them before the pandemic.

The sculpture weighs approximately 100kg, is made of fiberglass and painted with translucent resin.

It has a steel structure that keeps it firm and submerged in the estuary.

It weighs 3 and a half tons
