From commitment to practice: advancing AAP together in humanitarian responses

Описание: Against the backdrop of the #Humanitarian Reset and growing pressure from widespread aid cuts, the humanitarian system faces a reckoning: adapt or risk failing the very people it seeks to support.

Co-hosted by OCHA, UNFPA, UNICEF, and ALNAP, this online event explored how lessons from evaluation and research can help overcome systemic barriers to accountability to affected people (AAP) — and how #AAP commitments can be turned into meaningful change in humanitarian responses. Additionally, the discussion explored what’s working in practice and identifies concrete steps we can all take to strengthen accountability and advance the shift from commitment to action.
