The ITV Sport Channel ceased broadcasting following the conclusion of the Division Two Play Off Final between Stoke and Brentford on Saturday 11th May 2002. The channel was on air for exactly nine months before the liquidation of ITV Digital meant it could no longer broadcast.
Here, see the final few minutes of the channel as presenter Matt Smith bid us farewell with a few montages of the 2001/2002 football season that they covered expertly. Copyright ITV.
