On the night of May 4th a girl posted an elaborated instagram story describing how Manav Singh a 17 year old boy from gurugram allegedly molested her sometime around 2 years ago.

The girl immediately got noticed by the people online and news began to spread like wildfire. A lot lot of people came in support for the girl. Which then lead to extreme verbal and mental abuse that a 17 year old boy could not handle. Manav threw himself off of the 11 floor and ended his life.

Whether Manav was guilty or not remains a mystery. Even our constitution States that an accused is innocent until proven guilty.

But the people on social media seem to view themselves above the law. Because in a matter of minutes Manav started getting multiple threats and abuses because people had already sentenced him guilty without any judge or jury.
His personal info was being shared mindlessly leading to his bullying and harrasment.

There's so many cases if you remember Saravjeet case as i mention in the end of the video,
In a similar case of Saravjeet, he managed to pull himself together and fought his fight and was finally got cleared of all the charges. but it cost him several jobs, his mental peace and most importantly his dignity.

So I would just leave you with a simple but important request
Please do not share any article that defames an individual without any proof.
Don't believe everything you see on social media.
Raising your voice for a good cause is a noble thing to do.
But don't fuel a fire which can burn down someone's home.
A mother lost her child a brother lost his brother.
Be responsible because next time it could be one of your own.
