In the visual department, the HQ rip is not that huge a difference, but we finally have GLORIOUS STEREO AUDIO. This special makes INCREDIBLE use of that. I just finished meticulously cutting out little clicks just listening to the audio all by itself, and even as someone who doesn't speak Japanese, I felt completely immersed in the sound, radio-play-style. I could see every scene from the special poi'fectly through sound alone. Hope y'all feel the same. Also, I'm not normally one for uploading 60fps footage, but this VHS tape has rill' bad ghosting between animation cels, so I feel like if someone wanted to get nothing but clean frames, uploading it like this would be the best way to ensure you had them all.
