Описание: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of a defibrillator are crucial skills in the event of a cardiac arrest. These techniques are not just for healthcare professionals but for everyone. Knowing what to do in a cardiac arrest situation can greatly increase the chances of survival.

The video follows DRABCD and shows how one would respond when approaching a casualty who is suffering from a suspected cardiac arrest.

D - Danger
R - Response
A - Airway
B - Breathing
C - CPR
D - Defibrillator

When performing CPR: Place hands on top of each other and lock your fingers, keep your arms straight and press hard and fast in the centre of the chest. Remember that starting CPR within the first few minutes is of critical importance.

The video also shows how easy it is to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and why it's an essential part of the chain of survival. Buttons of an AED light up when an action is required.
