Dr Rakib Ehsan from the Henry Jackson Society has said woke politics is preventing politicians from tackling problems facing white working class children.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, he said: “We have these woke intersectionality frameworks where being a white male is seen as a form of hyper-advantage.
“When you actually look at educational outcomes, it’s white working class boys who are being left by the wayside.”
It follows a report from the Office for Students – a fair access watchdog – which said poor white teenagers in former industrial and coastal towns are among the least likely to go to university.
