Prosecutors seek to increase bail to $2M for 19-year-old accused fatally stabbing handyman

Описание: A murder suspect released from custody has now been charged with second-degree murder.

Nineteen-year-old K’shawn Jimerson is accused of stabbing a 65-year-old neighbor to death who was working as a handyman inside Jimerson’s home. Jimerson was released from custody the next day after a judge set bail at $50,000. Prosecutors initially asked for $2 million.

As new details on the case have come out, prosecutors intend to ask again for bail to be increased to $2 million.
