Solo Hiking 12 km to Maden Bay, Çıralı - Lycian Way

Описание: Maden Bay, also known as Maden Koyu, is located near Çıralı, in Antalya, Turkey. It lies along the Lycian Way, one of the world’s most scenic long-distance hiking trails.

The bay is part of the Beydağları Coastal National Park, meaning it remains largely untouched by modern development. Unlike nearby beaches like Olympos or Çıralı, Maden Bay has no hotels, no restaurants, and no crowds—just pure, untouched nature.

The name "Maden" means "mine" in Turkish. In the early 20th century, the area was used for chrome mining. Miners extracted chrome ore here and transported it by sea. Although mining operations have long ceased, you can still find abandoned structures, old railway tracks, and tunnels…
