Lucy's Story - From knitting hobby to award-winning startup

Описание: Lucy joined Cohort 2 of the RGU Startup Accelerator with an idea to revolutionise knitting. She wanted to make her family's favourite hobby fit for the digital age by developing a digital knitting platform. As a result of taking part in the programme, she received funding, mentorship, training, and guidance to evolve her idea from a passion to a business.

Since taking part in the programme she has launched her KnitPic service which turns a photograph into a knitting pattern compete with full kit of materials, and she has won several awards and competitions including Converge Creative Challenge and the UK Young Innovator award.
