In this video, I will show you how to analyse an earth embankment in Plaxis 2D that is reinforced with geotextiles at its base. I will also show you how to model a uniformly distributed load on the top of the embankment and will provide tips and some technical knowledge on some Plaxis 2D settings.
In the next Plaxis 2D tutorial, I will show you how to go and create a material model for your soil and geotextile.
