Israel allows only five Palestinians to leave Gaza as Rafah crossing reopens

Описание: The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt reopened for the first time in nearly two years on Monday, but only five Palestinians were allowed to leave for medical treatment.

The Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt has reopened on both sides after being previously destroyed by Israeli forces and kept closed.

According to the Gaza Government Media Office, an estimated 22,000 wounded people and patients remain on waiting lists for urgent evacuation.
