Hello everyone! In today's video, I talk about how your studies at WU BBE go. I cover everything:
1) Introductory and Orientation phase
2) Core courses/ Main Program phase
3) Specializations and Free electives (usually start in the 4th semester)
4) Bachelor thesis
5) Graduation
6) Master's application (for English-taught programs)
Note: You usually have 5 subjects in the first 3 semesters. I confused it with 6 because you get 6 ECTS per subject (I say that around the 4-5th minute). That equals to 30 ECTS per semester. If you complete 30 ECTS per semester you will graduate in 6 semesters/3 years (which is very doable if nothing unexpected happens) since you need a total of 180 ECTS to graduate from the Bachelor of Business and Economics at WU.

You can also find it by going to https://www.wu.ac.at/ and clicking on "quicklinks" and then "WU course catalog".
A webinar I made about how it all works: • Webinar. Subjects & Specializations &Free... subjects&specializations&free electives at WU BBE. Check the description for all the links;)
Do not worry about them, you will get a presentation about each specialization in good time from your program coordinator via your student email.

You can choose to attend it or just pick up your diploma from the Student Service Center at the library (LC).

There are 3 application deadlines. The first one starts in October and the last one is in March.
Regarding the tuition fees:
https://www.wu.ac.at/en/students/admi...
Let me explain this sentence to you:
"Tuition fees are waived temporarily for the length of the prescribed standard duration of the respective degree program, plus two extra semesters(tuition-free period) for the following groups of degree program students:"
An example: If you are from the EU you only have to pay the OH fee, which is 21.20 euros per semester (half a year) during the standard duration of the program (for a bachelor's it is 6 semesters, for a master's it is 4 semesters) and during the extra 2 semesters after the standard duration, in case you take longer to complete it. If you are studying for longer than the standard duration+2 semesters then you will have to pay approx. 364 euros per semester. So if you are an EU bachelor's student at WU, you would only have to start paying 364 euros (per semester) if you study for 9 semesters or longer.
