Keynote Speaker: Laura Kogler (Director of Engineering, Code for America)
Laura is the Director of Engineering at Code for America. Before working at Code for America, she was an engineering manager at Pivotal Labs where she helped clients from small startups to large enterprises deliver high quality software using agile and user-centered processes. She has a PhD in physics from UC Berkeley, but left academia to pursue work that has a more tangible impact in people's lives.
Building a 21st Century Government that Puts People First. Laura will be giving an overview of how we practice civic tech at Code for America, and how you can get involved.
