Does your brain know where you are in space? Brain-body imbalances can cause pain and make it challenging to stabilize your body. Find out how to test yours in this video.
Your neurofascial system allows you to move, work, and accomplish your daily tasks pain-free when it's working efficiently. When there are imbalances between this brain-body connection, it can cause problems with your stability and your ability to move authentically. Brain-body imbalances can even cause pain in your body.
You can check for brain-body imbalances using two tests: one in standing, and one lying down on the floor. In standing, a brain-body imbalance would suggest that your brain can't fully understand or feel the connection between your feet and the floor. When lying on the floor, brain-body imbalances lead to masses and spaces of your body not being in proper contact with the floor or feeling out of place. These are all signs that your brain doesn't know where you are in space.
