“The Feast of Purim”
The Book of Esther
Three questions of Purim:
1. Would Esther serve God, even if He chose to use her in ways
that did not match her _____________?
2. How do you respond when you do not receive the
____________________ you deserve?
3. Can God work in the disturbing ____________________ of
life?
Two principles of Esther:
1. The Bible is the Word of God. The events that took place in the
story of Esther took place in a very real ______________ of
the world.
“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for __________,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that
God’s people may be thoroughly equipped for every good
work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
2. Like Esther, be willing to ________________ your will to
God’s will.
Three lessons of Purim:
1. We can __________ God to accomplish His plan in the
coincidences of life … and even in the circumstances that
we face.
“We know that in all things God works for the
______________ of those who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The
Lord has done great things for them.’” Psalm 126:2
