Starting at the Alum Cave trailhead, we make our way past Arch Rock, Alum Cave Bluffs, and push through the final climb to the summit of Mount LeConte. This hike is roughly 11 miles round trip with over 2,700 feet of elevation gain — and every step is worth it.
If you're planning to hike Mount LeConte via Alum Cave, this video shows what to expect, trail conditions, views, and the overall experience of summiting one of the highest peaks in the Smokies.
