Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the BoatBuckle ratchet gunwale one-inch tie-down strap. These straps are going to be great for securing the gunwale of your boat down to your trailer if you don't have the option of a transom strap. However, if you do have the transom strap, these can be used in conjunction with that to give you a little extra security. These straps are going to be a weather-resistant nylon webbing. They're going to have a 333 pound working load limit and 1,000 break strength. However, I do recommend if you are securing something nylon that's over that 333 pound working load limit, you will need a second strap.

Your buckle and your S hooks are going to be constructed of a durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, which are going to work great for freshwater and saltwater application. What's great about this buckle is it can be loosened and tightened with one hand.Although these BoatBuckle straps are designed for the gunwale of your boat, they do come in two different sizes, 12 foot and 18 foot, and can be used in multiple different applications. Let me show you how to get your strap installed. We're going to feed it through a rope cleat. We'll just run it down and around our boat frame right to itself, and you're going to do the same thing on the opposite side.

Once you have the other side done, simply pull your strap and ratchet it until it's tight. You want to make sure that you at least run your strap one complete turn, so it's touching itself. And then to loosen it, you simply push up here, pull it back toward the strap, and you'll feel it release. That'll do it for a look at the BoatBuckle ratchet gunwale one-inch tie-down strap.
