An important meeting of the Union Cabinet was held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which many major economic and social decisions were taken. After the meeting, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that with the aim of keeping LPG gas affordable for the middle class and poor families, the government has approved a subsidy of Rs 30 thousand crore. This subsidy will be given to the government oil companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, which sell domestic cooking gas, so that they can compensate for their losses due to high prices of crude oil in the international market and the burden of inflation does not reach the common consumer.


प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आज केंद्रीय कैबिनेट की अहम बैठक हुई, जिसमें कई बड़े आर्थिक और सामाजिक फैसले लिए गए। बैठक के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि मिडिल क्लास और गरीब परिवारों के लिए LPG गैस सस्ती रखने के मकसद से सरकार ने 30 हज़ार करोड़ रुपये की सब्सिडी को मंजूरी दी है। यह सब्सिडी घरेलू रसोई गैस बेचने वाली सरकारी तेल कंपनियों इंडियन ऑयल, भारत पेट्रोलियम और हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम को दी जाएगी, ताकि उन्हें अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाज़ार में कच्चे तेल की ऊंची कीमतों से होने वाले नुकसान की भरपाई हो सके और आम उपभोक्ता तक महंगाई का बोझ न पहुंचे।
