Boom Boom Club, Sutton - 15th Anniversary

Описание: Pete Feenstra's Boom Boom Club celebrates it's 15th Anniversary today with a special show. Unfortunately, although I have enjoyed 200+ gig at the Boom Boom Club, I will not be able to make it tonight.

I first discovered this great music venue 14 years ago when it appeared on Walter Trout's gig schedule....Walter Trout performing on my doorstep....wow, and it has been a great part of my life since.

Pete Feenstra has brought a large number of established artists from the UK, Europe and the USA. He has also introduced me to a great number of artists that had until that point fallen below my radar and in particular he always gives new emerging talent a great opportunity.

Although this has been a great musical haven for me for 14 years I have only taken a video camera with me for the past 7 years. I have captured some great performances which can all be found on youtube, recording standards have improved in recent years but please enjoy some of the highlights.

Happy Birthday Boom Boom Club and please please please Pete Feenstra carry on the great tradition and contribution to keeping music live.
