Approximately one year after Canada went into lockdown due to Covid-19, border measures have become tougher however more passengers are exempted.

According to the latest updates, Canada has extended travel limitations until 21 March 2021 for travellers from United States, and until 21 April 2021 for travellers from other countries.

Since travel limitations were previously extended in January 2021, Canada has tighten up measures at the Canadian border. International flights are only being allowed at four Canadian airports. Canada’s four major airlines are cancelling flights to Mexico and the Caribbean. Also, incoming air passengers must now take a Coronavirus test upon arrival and wait for results in a government-designated hotel.
