Exploring the Campbell House In Lexington, KY with Modded & ORIGINAL U.S. Elevators!!!!

Originally built in the 1900s or 1910s as a Standalone House, this historic property became a Small 2 story Motor Inn in 1951 after a renovation and expansion project and was expanded to its current size in 1972.
This Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and really cool, and while I unfortunately did not stay here, this place looked so cool I decided to do a whole video exploring it!
This place was recently bought by Hilton and made part of their "Curio" Collection, and at the time of recording was undergoing some renovations, although most of the project appeared to be completed. While I would've loved to see the place pre renovation, this place was still pretty nice and the Original House Building that serves as the lobby is absolutely gorgeous!

As for the elevators, 2 of them have been modded fairly recently likely by DC or Murphy Elevator with GAL VR Fixtures and all new equipment, one of them used to be a U.S. while the other used to be a Dover, however the mod is fairly nice, albeit still relatively boring.

The 2nd elevator I ride in the video though is the best one. It is an almost totally original 1972 U.S. Elevator with Square Classic button fixtures! Unfortunately, the pump seems to be replaced, and the original door open and close buttons were taken out and replaced with Innovation Universal ones, but other than that, it was pretty much totally original and an absolutely great find!
