Day 2 — Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen
Harder Kulm viewpoint, Valley of 72 Waterfalls, Trümmelbach Falls

From Interlaken, take a Funicluar 2361 from Interlaken Harderbahn to Harder Kulm
Interlaken Ost - Lauterbrunne

Day 3 — Schynige Platte Panorama Trail
One of the most scenic ridge hikes in the Bernese Oberland

Take a train from Interlaken Ost to Wilderswil. Take a train from Wilderswil to Schynige Platte.

Day 4 — Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe)
Sphinx Terrace, Aletsch Glacier, hike to Mönchsjochhütte, Ice Palace

Travel from Grindelwald Terminal starts from 7:45
Grindelwald Terminal - Eigergletscher (Eiger Express )
Walk 10 mins to Eigergletscher platform 3
Eigergletscher - Jungfraujoch (Jungfrau Railway )

If you stay at other villages, you might need to travel to Grindelwald Terminal first


Day 5 — Grindelwald First & Faulhorn
First Cliff Walk, Lake Bachalpsee, panoramic ridge hike to Faulhorn

Take the gondola (Line 2440 Gondola) from Grindelwald to First

Day 6 — Schilthorn, Birg & Mürren
Schilthorn, Birg Thrill Walk, Murren, the Northface Trail

Train from Grindelwald to Gimmelwald
Cable car from Gimmelwald to Murren
Transfer to the cable car Birg,
Transfer to the cable car to Schilthorn

Day 7 — Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg
Royal Walk and the famous Panorama Trail

From Grindelwald take the Eiger Express to Mannlichen

Afternoon: Grindelwald to Zermatt

Day 8 — Zermatt & Gornergrat
Swiss Topwalk, Riffelsee, views of the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa

Take the Gornergrat railway look for the sign “Gornergrat Bahn, the Matterhorn Railway,” - (the station is located right across street of the main train station in Zermatt) from Zermatt to Gornergrat.


Day 9 — Rothorn & Five Lakes Walk
Rothorn Summit, Five Lakes Walk, look for Stellisee - reflection of the Matterhorn

From Zermatt to Sunnegga, Sunnegga to Blauherd, Blauherd to Rothorn

Day 10 — Matterhorn Glacier Trail & Findeln
Glacial landscapes, Schwarzsee, and dining at Adler Hitta (my personal favorite) or Chez Vrony (Michelin-starred)

Ride the gondola from the Zermatt Bergbahnen to Furi, Furi to Trockener Steg

If you plan to visit Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe), choose the clearest weather day possible. Tickets cost over $200 per person, and visibility makes a huge difference to the experience.
