There can't be a worse place to hide a cache than on top of a wasp nest. You know, one of those nests that the wasps build in the ground.
This was a FTF, the cache was new, the hive was there longer than the cache. The owner just never noticed.
I reached into the stump, pulled out the cache, and a wasp let me have it.
Well, at least I got the FTF!
