Lost in Trafaria & Cova do Vapor - FISHING VILLAGES Near Lisbon 🇵🇹

Описание: I take the bus to Trafaria, Portugal to explore this small fishing village across the Tagus River from Lisbon. I find an abandoned military fort (5ª Bateria da Raposeira) with huge guns that were built to protect the Lisbon Harbor from enemy ships. Now it's a great place to explore and see graffiti. While in Trafaria I found a quaint little place to eat lunch with a view of the towns main square. I was surrounded by locals and didn't see another tourist the entire day.

I then walked over to one of the most interesting and unique neighborhoods in all of Portugal; Cova do Vapor on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. This little community is amazing with little ally ways leading every which way. One of the most unique neighborhoods in Portugal.

Between Trafaria and Cova do Vapor are some poor neighborhoods that I can only describe as slums. Once again, this neighborhood was unlike any I'd ever seen in Portugal. The people I met were all very friendly.

While waiting for the bus to leave I decided at the last second to take the ferry to Porto Brandão and had to run across town to try and catch the ferry that was scheduled to depart in 5 minutes! Did I make it?
