We’re hearing it everywhere: AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) is 2 to 10 years away. It’s coming for the "intelligence" work—the coding, the consulting, the analyzing. As someone with 15 years of professional experience currently helping enterprises implement AI, I can see the writing on the wall. My own job has an expiration date.

Path 1: The Short-Term Sprint (AI Implementation)

Path 2: The Long-Term Pivot (The Human Premium)
I’m starting to look at businesses that AI cannot replace: Caregiving, physical presence, and the "Human Premium."

The Digital Detox: Why I’m looking at building retreats where phones are banned and journaling is required. Disconnecting will be the "new gym" of the 2020s.

The Care Economy: Why human-to-human care for our children and elderly will become a luxury service that robots can’t replicate.

A Warning for Junior Devs & Consultants:
We’re already seeing it. Junior roles are disappearing because AI can do the entry-level work. If we don’t have juniors, how do we get seniors? We are living through a shocking shift in the capitalistic world.

My Advice: Don't Freeze.
Whether AGI takes 2 years or 10, the worst thing you can do is stay paralyzed. Take action on your instincts today. Build something that matters now, and stay flexible enough to evolve when the world shifts.
