Crystal Lake Series Review: That Was Weird or Weird Good? Does Jason Really Need an Origin Story?

Описание: Crystal Lake, the Peacock series set in the Friday the 13th world, dropped all 8 episodes on Oct 15, 2026, and Winter Wolf and KingZ watched every one. The story picks up right after Jason's drowning, but the backstory flashback does not land until episode seven, one before the finale. They argue over whether Hollywood explains the monster too much, and whether this fits the 1980 original or the 2009 reboot better.

Everything after that talks plot.
