It is September 1st, 2020 and you are about to start your due diligence on a B2B software company that provides HR solutions to large enterprises. Last week, you took a closer look at their pitch deck and you knew that this company would fit very well to your fund’s investment strategy. The company has been rapidly growing and reached an MRR of 1m EUR in Dec 2019.
You asked the management to send a detailed Excel spreadsheet containing all leads and opportunities in their sale pipeline – being very specific about the format to make sure you have all the information you need. The email containing the file just came in, and now you are are eager to see if it would support the revenue forecasts that were shown in the pitch deck!
