HOW TO MAKE NATURAL DYE WITH FRESH HIBISCUS | ORGANIC COLOR | RED DUSTY PINK MAUVE | GARDEN FORAGE

Описание: Hibiscus is a natural way to create dusty pink and mauve dyes for your textile and craft projects. Thanks to the kindness of Marilyn, a Color Quest subscriber, I received fresh hibiscus flowers from her Florida garden to test in my dye studio. If you don't live in a tropical area where hibiscus grows naturally, no problem! You can also use hibiscus tea or dried flowers for a quick and easy organic color alternative. This tutorial will show you all of the organic goodies that Marilyn sent me and how to brew dyes from her garden fresh flowers as well as the resulting color swatch samples on ribbon (cotton, silk, wool) and felted wool pompoms.
