The AMX M4 in War Thunder is a French Medium Tank with a LONG 90mm Cannon and an autoloader. With 260mm of penetration from a solid shot, the cannon is pretty destructive. The only issue I had with this tank is the Autoloader only holds 6 rounds. This would be alright if it wasn't for the fact the autoloader reloads PAINFULLY slow.
Despite that, everything else the AMX M4 has to offer is AMAZING. With 1000hp and weighing in at 52 tonnes, it's really fast. The gun does a significant amount of damage despite being solid shot. The armor isn't really reliable but it's good enough and can cause some pretty trolly bounces.
For what is basically a Panther Tank worth of armor, much more powerful engine and a significantly better gun... this thing is definitely a GREAT medium tank!
