The one and the only reason you're feeling depressed is that you don't have a purpose. Now purpose can come from someone else or it can come from within.
BUT, most of us don't trust the voice we have inside us telling us our own purpose. OR, most of us want to blame someone else if it doesn't go right. This way we don't have to take the responsibility for our own life. We can walk around saying it wasn't my fault.
BUT, this type of indecision in life creates depression. Victim mentality creates depression. We all have a soul and I truly believe that we all have our own purpose. Some live with their purpose and they are the happiest human beings on the planet of the earth. They don't have to google and search how to deal with depression? Because these people are too busy living their purpose. They don't have time to sit back and think what could have been better if this or that happened.
Deep down we all know when we are not doing the things that we are supposed to be doing. So let me ask you this, do you want to overcome depression? or do you want to deal with depression? because both of them are two separate things. With the first one, you learn to go past depression, you leave depression and sadness behind. With the second option, you learn to live alongside it. Like co-existing.
I do not support the idea of co-existing because the feeling of depression is a way of our unconscious mind to tell us that there is something that you should be focusing on which you are not doing. Every time you feel it, there is room for improvement. Either you lunge in the direction of the self-growth and you evolve or you just sit back and not do the thing you should be doing and then you feel even more depressed. You keep on losing your faith in yourself and you keep falling in your own eyes. You become someone you don't respect and if you know what people can do and even do in this world and age to the people they don't respect, you know it's bad.
So gather your self-respect and there is only one way forward and which is to do the things that you should be doing. It is hard indeed. There is no doubt about that, but this is suffering you will be choosing yourself so you'll be able to bear it and find meaning in it. this is how to come out of depression fast
