Hos. 13:14 - I will ransom them from the power of Sheol;
I will redeem them from Death.
Where, O Death, are your plagues?
Where, O Sheol, is your sting?
Compassion (toward the enemy) is hidden from My eyes.
Isa. 28:18 - Your covenant with death will be dissolved,
and your agreement with Sheol will not stand.
Psa. 79:11 - 11May the groans of the captives reach You;
by the strength of Your arm preserve those condemned to death.
Col. 2:13-14 - When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses, having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross! And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
