EPIC KONE Elevators | Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta, ID

Описание: TOTALLY AWESOME! These are some epic 1990s European KONE elevators imported from Finland, and one of the only two places in Indonesia with such elevators other than Wisma Mulia 1 which I have filmed. I've been wanted to film these elevators for a long time and now I've finally got them! These were also the first KONE elevators I've ever ridden.

The best part is not only these are tall and beautiful, but because these are still original since they were installed! Listen to those loud classic KONE chimes outside! Lucky I managed to film till the top floor, but annoyingly there were quite a lot of random calls (or more like "ghost calls") on the way up and down so apologize if this video is a bit too long as I didn't expect to have so many ghost calls. Two of the eight elevators were switched off, presumably to save power given how relatively quiet the occupancy was. All in all these elevators are EPIC, and probably the best KONE elevators I've filmed in Indonesia so far!

According to KONE's 1997 annual report and old website from 1998, there are 12 elevators installed in this hotel (listed as "Senyan Hotel", obviously a typo) which are eight for passenger and four for service. Oddly, the two elevators in the parking building weren't mentioned in the report nor website, probably because they were locally made at the Sidoarjo factory and thus excluded from the contract.
