There are many things we can do to get better results with our FDM pirnters. I have been using my A1 and A1 mini for almost 1 year now, and I have been so impressed. I have been printing minis with the 0.4 nozzle and the 0.2 nozzle, and it's amazing.
However, I believe the conversation about miniatures has taken the wrong turn in the 3D printing community.
Quality is great, but the options, the print time, the success rate and overall the printing experience is more important than quality alone.
If I can make a half decent miniature in 5 mins compared to make a fine detailed one in 5 hours, then I would take the decent one every day and make an army.
I understand if you only want a few fantastic miniatures, then I do not understand why someone would get a 3D printer.
