How to Create a Triple Ombre Soap (Purple Dragon/Maleficent Inspired)

Описание: How to Create a Triple Ombre Cold Process Soap! Today's video is all about making a Disney Maleficent (and Mal from Descendants) Dragon Inspired Soap using the triple ombre technique, soap dough, glitter, and a dragon soap stencil.

I started this soap off by making my dragon scale soap embed pieces. I used five colors ranging from black, mauve, purple, and pink to create a soap that had the feel of Disney's Maleficent. I rolled out my soap dough and then used the "scale fondant cutter" to make the scales. (Search that term and you'll find the cutters on Amazon). After cutting out the scales I then use some rubbing alcohol and dip the scales in glitter to cover top of the scales.

When I create a triple ombre I divided my batch up in to three portions. I take the first portion and divide it into two containers. One contains 30% of soap and the other 70%. The 30% soap will be my first color (in this case black) and my 70% will be my second color (mauve/magenta). Pour into your mold slowing adding a little mauve soap to the black with each pour. Repeat the process for each layer of color.

Once I was finished pouring I then added the scales to the top of the soap. Cut your soap the next day. I wait about 2-3 days before I add the stencil. I used mica to dust the top of the stencil in a gradient pattern to match the soap.
