Street Fighter 2 World Warrior [SNES] Boss version - M.Bison playthrough

Описание: This is an alternate version of the SNES game Street Fighter II: The World Warrior which allows the player to select and control the 4 bosses (Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M.Bison). Read on for more information below:

In this video, I've casually played through the game with M.Bison on Difficulty Level 7 as a demonstration. Obviously, his basic moves are very overpowered, and all of them are Heavy hits, no matter which strength punches or kicks you use. He also has two special moves - the Psycho Crusher and the Head Stomp, performed via the usual charging methods.

Below are various information about the character in the game, read on:

---- Unlike the CPU version, he does not wear and remove his cape before the fight starts.

---- He has a jumping punch that can hit twice. The CPU M.Bison never uses this.

---- He has a standing stomach punch (HP while standing). The CPU M.Bison never uses this.

---- His punch fist aura/flames are a flawed colour. If you use the Psycho Crusher, the punch fist aura/flames change into a different flawed colour.

---- All 3 strengths of his Psycho Crusher travel the same short distance. The only difference between them is the speed of travel.

---- After he hits with the Head Stomp, he has two outcomes. The first familiar outcome is he flips back and launches a swan dive punch; the second outcome is he flips to the other side of the opponent, lands on the ground and performs a straight kick. World Warrior is the ONLY version of SF2 where he has the second outcome. You can see this at 0:57 in the video.

---- If his Head Stomp is blocked, he will either jump back off or jump off forward behind. It depends where the opponent is. Also interestingly, the CPU M.Bison in SF2CE, SF2HF, SSF2 and SSF2T is able to do this, BUT the player version is NEVER able to.

---- He doesn't have the proper moving Scissor Kick. In SF2:WW, this isn't a Special Move, and it was supposed to be done by just pressing HK while standing. Instead it is a 'still' version, as it just shows a static animation of the Scissor Kick and returns to his stance. It DOES hit the opponent if it connects though. You can see this used in the bonus rounds.

---- He doesn't have the Slide Kick Sweep. This is supposed be done by pressing LK while standing, but it just shows a quick animation of the slide and returns to his stance. It DOES hit and knock over the opponent if it connects though. You can see this used in the bonus rounds.

---- Sometimes when he performs the Head Stomp against some of the other bosses, he flies up off the screen at the top, and takes about 5 seconds to come back down.

---- In the VS Handicap and Stage Select screen, notice how every character's name at the top is 'RYU'. This was done to stop the game locking if you went into that screen with a boss character.
---- In a 2-Player game, if you win a round with him you will get the '1PLAYER WINS' message instead of his name.

---- In the Win-Loss records screen after a match in V.S. Mode, his wins/losses are recorded on Ryu's name. If you win with him it will record it as a Loss, and if you lose with him it will record it as a Draw.

---- In the V.S. Mode character select screen when M.Bison is highlighted, he already has a number of Special Knockouts in the stats below.

---- In 1-Player arcade mode, if you lose a match with him he does NOT have a 'lose' portrait on the winning/losing screen. This is because he is originally the last opponent you face before the player character's ending. Also interestingly, in the Arcade version of World Warrior M.Bison DID have a 'lose' portrait...

---- In 1-Player arcade mode, if you lose with him and end up on the Continue countdown screen, pressing START to continue will produce some strange flawed voices or sounds. It varies and the sound you get is dependent on which voiced was used by the opponent he was fighting and lost to.

---- Obviously as the bosses were never meant to be playable, their 'endings' are flawed, with Ryu's ending music playing. It doesn't lock the game though. You can see this near the end of the video.

---- After he lands his Head Stomp, you do not have control of his two outcomes afterwards, unlike in every other Street Fighter game.

---- On the Character Select screen map, the flying plane has been removed. Instead it just skips straight to the next opponent. This was obviously done because the bosses had no proper flight plan (lol) programmed in, they would originally 'fly' to "out-of-bounds" areas which would end up locking the game.
